  • A Good Night's Sleep
      • Children age 3-5 need 11 to 13 hours of sleep each night
      • Children age 6-12 need 10 to 11 hours of sleep each night
      • Consistent bed time routines will help make this possible
      • READING, soothing music, and extra TLC before the lights are out will help!
      • Give your children 1 hour to get ready and settle in before turning the lights out
      • Video games and other technology before bed can keep your child up! Keep these activities for other times of the day!
    • Breakfast
      • Breakfast is the MOST important meal of the day!
      • If your child needs breakfast at school, please call the school to arrange
      • Many children are not hungry in the morning. Have them help you plan a healthy breakfast menu!
    • A Peaceful Morning Routine
        • A peaceful morning routine is one that is not rushed
        • Give your child 1 hour of awake time before they need to leave the house
        • Help your child pack their bag and lay out their clothes, coat, shoes, and even snack/lunch the night before
